All of these engines listed above have demonstrated their reliability year after year. From 3,000 through 8,000 pound capacity, both cushion and pneumatic tire models utilize a transmission manufactured by Tailift. Tailift introduced their own in July of 1998. It is manufactured in their own " clean room" so as to ensure their ability to control the quality of their transmission. The LPG, diesel and the gasoline* powered units from 9,000 pound capacity and above are equipped with a two-speed power-shift transmission built by Graziano-Voith.

The masts are manufactured by Tailift utilizing German steel. They are designed for heavy use with six carriage roller bearings as standard equipment as compared to four carriage roller bearings on most of the name brand trucks. The steer axles are hydrostatic. The chassis are made of one piece welded construction for greater durability. The finished product is mechanically and cosmetically of high quality. In May of 1999, Tailift was ISO 9002 certified.

The current warranty is 12 months or 2,000 hours on the entire truck and 24 months or 4,000 hours on the drive train. Warranty administration is handled here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Claims are paid promptly and fairly.

Most major commercial finance companies have recognized Tailift as worthy collateral. Subject to credit approval.
